It’s funny how cooking in the summer means finding ways to NOT heat up the kitchen, but cooking in the winter means using the oven as a source of heat!
Thankfully, this meal plan filled with tons of whole foods meal ideas will fill your bellies and keep your feet warm too!
Winter produce tends to lean towards green – a.k.a. boring – but there are a lot of ways to enjoy greens and a few other veggies of a different color.
This month we’re spicing it up with Asian and Mexican flare, with a good mix of winter salads and soups too so you can fight against the bulge that comes with all the cookies!!
This meal plan is for a family of four and it costs me around $350 living outside Atlanta, Georgia, but of course prices will vary by region and by season. Adjust portion sizes as needed for your family, or add additional sides to add bulk to the meal without adding more meat.
