What is the difference between Cajun seasoning and cayenne pepper?
Cayenne pepper is an ingredient in a Cajun seasoning blend, so cayenne pepper is a part of the spice blend commonly used in creole cuisine.
But cayenne pepper stands on its own as a spice that is used to make recipes spicy. It can be used alone, or in spice blends.
