As much as I love a good pie (like pumpkin pie or blueberry pie), I think I might like the crust better.
After all, if there’s any dough leftover or a particular piece with a lot of crust – I claim that for myself!
I’m a huge fan of my homemade pie crust recipe, but some pies are just better with a graham cracker crust, don’t you agree?
After a few trials, I’ve perfected a healthier version of a homemade graham cracker crust!

3 Ingredients for No Bake Graham Cracker Crust Recipe
Here is all you need:
- Graham Crackers
- Brown Sugar (OR granulated sugar + molasses)
- Melted Butter
See? Totally basic and probably already in your kitchen. You can do this!
Plus, this recipe is PERFECT for gluten-free folks.
Choose your favorite gluten-free crackers and get to baking! (I’ve tested Pamela brand and Annie’s brand – both are available at Amazon and Thrive Market.
If you can’t find gluten-free graham crackers, try looking for cookies. Any cinnamon or honey flavored cookie will work as well!)
Also, if you don’t have brown sugar, you can easily make your own! Details are in the recipe below, but just combined your preferred granulated sugar and molasses!

How do you make a graham cracker crust from scratch?
Easy peasy!
- Crush the graham crackers into crumbs using a blender or food processor (I recommend a food processor for this one).
- Add the sugar and melted butter until the mixture sticks together when pressed between your fingers.
- Press the crust into your pie pan!
Do you have to prebake a graham cracker crust?
No! This crust doesn’t require baking, making it perfect for no-bake desserts like cheesecake or healthy chocolate pie or coconut blueberry pie.
How do you make a graham cracker crust that doesn’t fall apart?
The key is to prevent it from falling apart is butter. You want to start with melted butter and make sure it coats all the graham cracker crumbs thoroughly. If it’s not mixed well BEFORE you make the crust, it will crumble as you make your pie.
