This homemade seasoned salt recipe adds great flavor to chicken, vegetables, and more. Ditch the Lawry’s and mix up this simple blend of salt, herbs, and spices instead.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ¼ cup garlic powder (32g)
  • ¼ cup onion powder (30g)
  • 2 Tbsp chili powder (14g)
  • 3 Tbsp paprika (21g)
  • 2 Tbsp dried parsley (3g)
  • 1 Tbsp black pepper (6g)
  • ¼ cup salt (leave the salt OUT for salt-free or add to make seasoned salt) (72g)

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients and store in an airtight container. I like to use these glass spice jars.

Notes

  • The recipe is highly customizable. For example, if you tend to like a spicy kick to all of your meals, you can also add cayenne pepper to this blend, of course, to your spice tolerance. OR you can make one with an extra spicy kick and one without. Just be sure to label which is which!
