Plus, I also make my own Italian seasoning, seasoning salt and poultry seasoning … and many more.

Ingredients for the best fajita seasoning
- chili powder
- ground cumin
- paprika
- granulated sugar (optional)
- garlic powder
- onion powder
- cayenne pepper
- salt
Notes on fajita seasoning ingredients
- Chili Powder: Many store-bought chili powders contain additives and sodium, so sure to read the ingredient label.
- Paprika: Sweet paprika is what you usually find in supermarkets, but if you crave a smoky flavor, by all means, substitute with smoked paprika.
- Granulated sugar: Sugar is traditionally used to caramelize the fajita meat and veggies, but this is completely optional. Brown sugar is always a nice option.
- Cayenne Pepper: Here is where you get your heat! Adjust cayenne to taste – I prefer ½ tsp cayenne.
- Salt: Also adjust your salt to taste – I prefer 1 tsp salt.
