Instructions

  1. In the bowl of a stand mixer, add flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add the cold, cubed butter, and using the paddle attachment, mix the ingredients together on low until the mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs.
  3. Alternatively, you can combine the ingredients using a pastry cutter, two forks, or your fingers. A food processor will also cut the butter, just be sure to use it on low so the butter doesn’t get creamy. 
  4. Store the baking mix in an airtight container or mason jar in the fridge or the freezer, for up to 3 months.

Notes

  • You won’t want to store this blend at room temperature because of the butter.
