Thanks for reading my newbie perspective on Kitchen Stewardship and welcome to Don’t Waste the Crumbs! I hope you’re enjoying the series so far - it’s completely overhauled my life and I hope it does the same for you!
Crumbs is a real food journey… on a real budget. I mentioned this a little bit already, but I imagine myself like many of you – trying to eat (real) food and trying to eat healthy while being forced to challenge the “norms” about food that society has been feeding us. I’m responsible for feeding my family and I don’t want them to eat plaster of paris or plastic! And it’s imperative that I don’t break the bank while making this happen. So I’m taking baby steps and learning as I go. You can read more about me here, but I’d love it if you join me in the process and learn with me (or correct me when I’m wrong!).
I’ve documented some of the steps I’ve already taken so that others can see that eating real food is not impossible or expensive, and it doesn’t have to taste gross. I’ve gathered a few posts that I think you may find helpful, interesting, or that may simply make you drool on your keyboard. In fact, some of these are a direct result of completing these steps!
