Kinda slim pick’ns this week folks. Not many books caught my eyes and all of the grocery deals required too much effort. I was able to wrangle up a few books though, in case you’re looking for some weekend reading. Plus a couple posts from the blog-o-sphere that I thought were worth checking out.

Does this look like fun? My kids will eat anything that is “mini” sized, and it’s so convenient to be able to pull out one or two of something from the freezer instead of always either a) making a lot of leftovers, or 2) making a little bit, often. It’s why we freeze muffin batter!
I haven’t read any of Gosseberry Patch’s cookbooks myself, but I’ve only heard great things. And who couldn’t use more ideas for cooking outside (a.k.a. no heat from the oven!). Summer is coming to an end, so get outside enjoy these last days of warmth while you can!
