Happy Friday Folks!
The Crumbs family is taking a mini-vacation. We’re cooking via fire, sleeping in a tent and having some family bonding time by bathing in a gorge (pictured above). Pretty cool, right?
I’m not off the hook for budget accountability and menu planning though for the final weeks of the pantry challenge. {Counting Crumbs} and regular scheduled programming will return on Sunday.

Have fun! We’re going camping in October for the first time since our daughter was born (she’ll be three in September). We love camping but just haven’t been able to swing it since she came along. I’m super excited.
Thanks Steph! You guys have fun too! It’s such a blast to watch the kids let loose. And as a mom, it’s nice not to care about them getting dirty!
Our son Paul and his family went to the all church camp from the 7th to the 12th. They rented and RV this year. Last year they took a tent. On the 8th Wayne, Don and I visited the campgrounds for the day. They were at Nehaleum Bay State Park. It is very large and nice.

We did the music! It was a Thurs – Sat trip. I used to camp with my grandparents in their RV. Coming home after tent camping made our sofa and mattress feel like luxury!
